ANNOUNCEMENTS/NOTES:  Once again, we have Orientation for new students next week, so there are no classes for current students; however, the computer lab will be open during normal business hours.

 Solving Multi-Step Equations:  Read Steck-Vaughn Complete p. 569; do p. 570 Ex. D #15-21 and check.

Review Perimeter and Circumference, as well as formulas for each.  Begin Area:  Read Steck-Vaughn Complete pp. 542-543.  Complete p. 543 (Word Problems) #1-4 and check.  Also, note whether each problem required you to solve for perimeter or area.

 

Tuesday, 12/18

 Develop Mind Map based on (handout) Contemporary’s Writing Workbook p. 82.  Use the mind map you developed to write an essay.  Topic:  Procrastination (handout).

 

Wednesday, 12/19

 Read the short story, “The Christmas Tree.”  Write the definition from context of each highlighted word.  Discuss and answer discussion questions.
